Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Context: |
This dua is mentioned in Quran 3:8 and this is recited to keep your heart upon Islam once you have found it. And to protect your heart from hypocrisy & wickedness. |
The verse before talks about a those who are devious who only focus on allegorical ayat from quran; and try to give twisted meaning to it out of biases and wickedness of their hearts. And it also talks about those who believe in all of Quran both allegorical and clear verses and they see every thing in proper context with a pure untwisted heart. |
