Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
This dua is mentioned in Quran 3:8 and this is recited to keep your heart upon Islam once you have found it. And to protect your heart from hypocrisy, wickedness and crookedness. |
Context: The verse before talks about a devious people who only focus on, and try to give twisted meaning to, allegorical ayat from quran; out of crookedness and wickedness of their hearts. And it also talks about good people who believe in all of Quran specific and non specific verses and they see every thing in proper context with a pure untwisted heart. |
