Dua for Victory and Perseverance | الدعاء من أجل النصرالثبات والمثابرة
رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
Our Lord! Shower us with perseverance, make our steps firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people
Rabbana Afrigh Alaina Sabran wa Thabbit Aqdamana wa Nsurna Alal-Qawm il-Kafirin
Context : This dua was made by those believers who fought against the army of Goliath along side Sol, and God gave them victory over a mighty army, and David (peace be upon him) killed Goliath with just his sling.

وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا۟ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
When they advanced to face Goliath and his warriors, they prayed, “Our Lord! Shower us with perseverance, make our steps firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
