Dua for the Newlywed (How to Congratulate)
بارَكَ اللّهُ لَك
وَبارَكَ عَلَـيْك
وَجَمَعَ بَيْـنَكُما في خَـيْر
May Allah bless you,
and shower His blessings upon you,
and join you together in goodness.
Barakallahu lak,
wa baraka alayk, wa jamaa baynakuma fī khayr
Narrated AbuHurayrah:
When the Prophet (saw) congratulated a man on his marriage, he said: May Allah bless for you, and may He bless on you, and combine both of you in good (works).
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، – يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ – عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَاانَ إِذَا رَفَّأَ الإِنْسَانَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ قَالَ “ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ ” .

Dua Before Sexual Intercourse With Spouse (Child born of such union will be protected from Satan)
بِسْمِ الله
اللّهُـمَّ جَنِّبْنا الشَّيْـطانَ
وَجَنِّبِ الشَّـيْطانَ ما رَزَقْـتَنا
With the Name of Allah.
O Allah, keep the Devil away from us,
and keep the Devil away from that which You provide for us.
Bismillāh.
Allāhumma jannibnash-Shayṭān,
wa jannibish-Shayṭāna mā razaqtanā

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If anyone of you, when having sexual relation with his wife, say: ‘In the name of Allah. O Allah! Protect us from Satan and prevent Satan from approaching our offspring you are going to give us,’ and if he begets a child (as a result of that relation) Satan will not harm it.”
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ أَمَا إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا أَتَى أَهْلَهُ وَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ، وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا. فَرُزِقَا وَلَدًا، لَمْ يَضُرُّهُ الشَّيْطَانُ ”.

Dua On Wedding Night (Marriage Night)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا
وَخَيْرَ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا
وَشَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ
O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of her,
and the goodness upon which You have created her,
and I seek refuge in You from the evil of her,
and from the evil upon which You have created her.
Allahumma inni as’aluka khayraha
wa khayra mā jabaltahā alayh, wa aūdhu bika min sharrihā
wa sharri mā jabaltahā `alayh.
Reference:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
If one of you marries a woman or buys a slave, he should say: “O Allah, I ask You for the good in her, and in the disposition You have given her; I take refuge in You from the evil in her, and in the disposition You have given her.” When he buys a camel, he should take hold of the top of its hump and say the same kind of thing.
Abu Dawud said: Abu Sa’id added the following words in his version: He should then tale hold of her forelock and pray for blessing in the case of a woman or a slave.
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ” إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ أَحَدُكُمُ امْرَأَةً أَوِ اشْتَرَى خَادِمًا فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَاا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا جَبَلْتَهَا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا اشْتَرَى بَعِيرًا فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِذِرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ وَلْيَقُلْ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ” . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ زَادَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ” ثُمَّ لْيَأْخُذْ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا وَلْيَدْعُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ ” . فِي الْمَرْأَةِ وَالْخَادِمِ .
